ETHICAL BREEDING
The health of your bengal is our top priority
RESPONSIBLE BREEDING
Ethical breeding is at the heart of what we do. Our bengals live with us and we only have a small number of litters a year so we can make sure they are given the most care and attention possible.
But ethical breeding is not just about the welfare of our cats. Bengals - like many other purebred cats - can be prone to certain genetic conditions. The risk of practically all of these can be removed through responsible breeding. Explore the page below to see the steps we take to ensure your bengal is as happy and healthy as possible.

WE TEST FOR OVER 50 CONDITIONS
Both parents of your future kitten will be tested for both Bengal-specific and general cat conditions that can be inherited.

We will never breed with a cat who has any genetic condition that will impact the health of your kitten.

The genetic tests for both parents can be shared with you at any time, and you will be given a copy of these when you take your new cat home.
OUR CATS HAVE YEARLY HEART SCANS
The only genetic condition that cannot currently be tested for is HCM. This is a condition that bengals can be prone to, but is usually inherited from a parent.

We scan all of our cats for HCM every year to ensure they are free of HCM, as well as ensuring there are no genetic heart conditions. Certificates will be available to you when you take your kitten home, or can be viewed before you make a decision.
WE WORK TO REDUCE THE COI
The COI - or Coefficient of Inbreeding - is the probability that a cat's genes have been inherited from the same parents further up their family tree.

We source our boys from different countries from our girls to ensure we are adding new genetics into our lines as much as possible. Our two studs come from Germany and France

OUR BENGALS ARE PART OF THE FAMILY
All our bengals live with us in the family home. They are provided exercise, safe outdoor space and regularly play time.
They are groomed regularly, have flea and worm treatments monthly and are fed exclusively on a high-quality, high meat low carb diet. This is especially important for Bengals who have different dietary requirements to standard cats.
